We are looking for a VP Growth & Acquisition for a leading go-to campervan marketplace for road trips with +400 employees worldwide and presence in more than 20 countries across Europe, USA, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.

Thanks to its digital approach and customer-centric orientation, the company has developed a strong booking experience and high-quality road trips at affordable prices.

You will be joining a dynamic and technology-driven company, working with a team of 20 nationalities and young, ambitious people.

✏️The Role

This is a global role (+20 countries)  based in HQs (Lisbon, Portugal), focused in B2C.

As VP Growth & Acquisition, you will be the central leader responsible for customer acquisition and growth of the customer base. This role is strongly focused on scalable acquisition strategies and measurable growth initiatives.

You will report directly to the CEO of the division (and in the first moment COO of the group), acting as the most strategic authority for growth and acquisition. Unlike a CMO role, this position is not focused on branding, but rather on performance, acquisition, loyalty and growth.

🎯What will you work on?

  • Own Customer Acquisition: Lead the end-to-end acquisition strategy through 4 channels (main sources are organic and paid channels):
    1. Paid marketing (search engines, social, app)
    2. Organic search & AI-driven growth
    3. Influencers & partnerships
    4. Loyalty programs to maximize retention & lifetime value
  • Develop and Scale Growth Strategies: Focus on performance and conversion across global markets, ensuring acquisition drives sustainable revenue growth.
  • Hands-On Leadership: While leading global and regional growth teams, you will also stay close to execution, launching and optimizing acquisition campaigns (Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, SEO, CRM, loyalty).
  • Budget Ownership: Manage and optimize a multi-million dollar marketing budget with a clear ROI-driven approach.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, revenue, and operations teams to ensure acquisition strategies are aligned with company objectives.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Translate analytics and customer behavior insights into actionable strategies for acquisition and retention.

⭐Who we are looking for?

  • Someone who has seen an organization grow from his early stages and help build the foundations.
  • Needs to be capable to work with Product and Tech teams.
  • Growth obsessed.
  • Someone who has worked side by side with the VP of revenue and VP of acquisition.
  • Strong track record in growth and acquisition, ideally at VP level or having led growth leaders.
  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus.
  • Hands-on expertise in performance marketing and organic growth.
  • A technical mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Proven experience in scaling high-performing teams.
  • Brand marketing is not a main competence for this role.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
