Mission

We are looking for a SAP MM, QM & Ariba Team Lead to drive digital transformation across global procurement and quality processes within the SAP Competence Center.
This is a high-impact role where you will lead a multidisciplinary functional team, define global standards, industrialize rollouts, and shape the next generation of SAP capabilities for the Group.

You will act as the primary link between Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Plant Logistics and DT&IT, ensuring global alignment, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

This role combines strategic leadership, process standardization, governance, and hands-on expertise when needed.

Scope of the role

Process coverage

• MM: All traditional MM processes deployed in EMEA; additional regions operate separate systems.

• Ariba: Global deployment with the following modules active:

  • Ariba Sourcing

  • Ariba Contracts (CLM)

  • Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP)

  • Buying & Invoicing / Guided Buying

  • Catalogs

  • Workflows & Approvals

  • Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC)

• QM: Existing footprint with need for enhancement and multi-year strategic roadmap.

Projects & roadmap

• International rollouts planned for 2025–2026.

• Ownership of global process standards and automation (full autonomy under business case approval).

• Responsibility for project budget (Capex + Opex).

Technology

• SAP S/4HANA 2023

• Full Ariba Suite (multiple modules in scope)

Team Leadership & Style

You will lead a mixed (internal + external) team. We are looking for an hybrid leader who can coach, be hands-on when required, and lead global projects with structure and clarity—adapting style to each project or situation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the MM, QM and Ariba functional team.

• Define, implement and continuously enhance global Procurement and Quality processes.

• Own and refine best practices for contracts, supplier lifecycle, workflows and quality management.

• Manage end-to-end SAP project lifecycles: requirements, design, configuration, testing, training, deployment.

• Collaborate closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Warehouse and Operations teams.

• Oversee operational support, ensuring SLA compliance and effective incident resolution.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and global standards.

• Drive automation, process optimization and harmonization across regions.

• Manage project and operational budgets.

• Influence global standards and governance across MM, QM and Ariba.

Ideal candidate profile

Experience

• 6–10+ years in SAP MM functional roles.

• 3–5+ years working with SAP Ariba modules.

• Experience in QM is a strong plus.

• 2–3 full-cycle SAP implementations (MM and/or Ariba).

• Experience leading SAP functional teams.

• Background in global or multinational environments is highly valued.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in SAP MM and/or Ariba.

• QM knowledge desirable (or willingness to upskill).

• Understanding of procurement processes, supplier lifecycle, compliance and quality inspection.

• Knowledge of integration with FI, SD, PP and logistics processes.

• English level: B2 or higher.
