We are looking for an HR Generalist (People & Culture Partner) based in Madrid for an international company.

The Challenge
As the HR Generalist, you will be the People lead for the team based in Spain. Your role will be key in driving strategic people projects and elevating the employee experience.
You will be a high-impact figure, close to the business, with real space to propose and implement new ways of working.
Responsibilities
a) Talent Acquisition

Lead end-to-end talent acquisition processes.

Collaborate with managers to define profiles, criteria, and hiring expectations.

Improve the selection process, ensuring a candidate experience that is agile, human-centred, and aligned with the company’s values.
b) Implementation of Strategic People Projects

Support the People leadership in locally implementing strategic projects defined at the corporate level.

Design and implement People initiatives that can scale to other geographies.

Participate in key projects such as culture (mission, values, purpose), onboarding experience, work-life balance, learning & development, and evolution of HR tools and processes.
c) Payroll & Compensation Management

Coordinate the outsourced payroll process: collection, review, and monthly validation of data.

Manage incidents, contract starts/stops, absences, and vacations.

Support the monthly compensation process, ensuring rigor, internal coherence, and alignment with corporate policies.

Assist managers with compensation queries and ensure consistency in pay decisions.
d) HR Business Partnering

Be the main People contact for managers and local teams in Spain.

Support performance, engagement, and organisational climate processes.

Assist with team growth and the structuring of new internal processes.
Profile We're Looking For
-
A professional with 5–10 years of experience in generalist HR roles or as an HRBP/People Culture Lead, ideally with a strong focus on recruitment.

Knowledgeable in outsourced payroll processes with the ability to validate data rigorously.

Experienced in managing cross-functional People projects.

Fluent in Spanish and English.

Autonomous, solution-oriented, approachable, and someone who enjoys environments based on trust rather than control.
