We are looking for a Corporate Strategy Manager for the Corporate Strategy and Portfolio Transformation Unit of Agrolimen; a family-owned multinational group, based in Barcelona, that operates in Human Food (GBfoods, Royco, Liebig, Watanmal, etc.) and Pet Food (Affinity, Natures Menu and Nature's Variety). With revenues in excess of €2BN, it has direct presence in more than 20 countries mainly in Europe, USA and Africa.

Mission

The Corporate Strategy Manager will be part of the Corporate Strategy & Portfolio Transformation team, mainly responsible for leading and supervising major strategic and transformational projects both at Group and Company level. level.

About the Team:

You will be working with coleagues with top tier banking and consulting experience (BCG, Bain, McKinsey...).

You will be a key pillar for the team. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn from highly skilled professionals and who can contribute significantly with his/her knowledge, becoming a figure of reference for the team.

What you will be doing:

You will be reporting directly to the CSSO (Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer) of the group, focused on managing a variety of projects related to Corporate Strategy & Transformation.

This position will have significant exposure to most senior positions both at Group level (Group CEO and CSFO and Companies Top Management Team).

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate strategic projects which can be developed at Agrolimen level or Group Companies (e.g., 3 year Strategic Plans, Transformation projects).
• Identify and analyse transformational opportunities impacting Agrolimen’s divisions and determine action plans (investment, acquisitions, organic development, etc.).
• Supervise and actively participate in the preparation of Board discussion materials.
• Supervise and develop Corporate Strategy Analysts and Associates through active leadership and coaching.

Career Development:

The career path can lead over time into a more senior position in Agrolimen or another managerial position in one of the Group Companies.

What you need to have:

• Around 5-7 years of experience in Strategic Consulting (in corporate or strategic consultancy). Needs to be a manager or in the window with management skills.
• We will consider candidates abroad and willing to work in Barcelona.
• Strong fluency in English (Spanish is not a must).
• Strong project leadership skills.
• Structured person with strong problem solving skills.
• Strong communication / presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on person.
• Ability to travel if required (~20%, it may vary substantially).
