Mission

We are looking for a SAP WM/EWM & TM Team Lead to drive one of the core pillars of the SAP Competence Center and elevate logistics processes worldwide (warehousing, transportation and SGAR).
You will act as the key bridge between Operations, Supply Chain, Plant Logistics, DT&IT and external partners, leading a strategic roadmap that combines global projects, multi-country rollouts and continuous improvement initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys global impact, logistical complexity and transformational environments, with a balance of team leadership, functional design and project management.

Scope of the Role

• Direct involvement in major global initiatives with international rollouts
• Collaboration with plants, warehouses, logistics hubs and international transportation.
• Full autonomy to propose process improvements and automation initiatives supported by business cases.

Team & Leadership Style

You will lead a mixed (internal + external) functional team.
The expected leadership style is hybrid:

• Hands-on when necessary,
• Coaching-oriented to develop internal expertise,
• Project leadership to ensure successful global delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and coordinate the WM/EWM, SGAR and TM functional teams.
• Design, implement and enhance end-to-end SAP logistics solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, global SAP solutions.
• Oversee operational support (20–30%) and lead strategic projects (70–80%).
• Ensure SLA compliance and adherence to global standards.
• Manage vendors and external partners across support and project contexts.
• Drive automation, process standardization and continuous improvement.
• Act as the main escalation point for critical SAP logistics issues.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

• 6–10+ years working with SAP WM/EWM and/or SAP TM.
• 2–3 full end-to-end implementations.
• Strong background in warehousing, distribution and transportation processes.
• Experience in global or multi-site SAP environments highly valued.
• 3–5 years of team or project leadership.
• Open to strong candidates with deep expertise in either WM/EWM OR TM.

Technical Skills

• Expert knowledge in SAP WM/EWM and/or TM (one module required).
• Understanding of integrations with MM, SD, PP and FI.
• Familiarity with transportation planning, execution and freight settlement.
• English level: B2 or higher
