We are looking for a Product Owner (Business & Tech Focus- SaaS) for a leading innovator company in digital signage solutions, offering hardware and software that delivers engaging experiences in physical spaces.
As we transition into a scale-up phase, we are expanding our talented team and looking for a dynamic Product Owner to lead the product development strategy.
This role reports to the Head of Product & Innovation, working as part of a squad with a skilled team.
You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with 3 more Product Owners in the company.
🎯Role Overview
As a Product Owner with both a business mindset and technical understanding, you will be the bridge between our business objectives and technical teams. You will drive the development of our SaaS platform, ensuring that our product strategy aligns with market needs and customer expectations while optimizing our technology stack for performance and scalability.
✍️Key Responsibilities
a) Product Vision & Strategy:
Define and drive the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's business goals and customer needs.
b) Business Analysis:
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product improvements and new features that enhance the customer experience.
c)Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with stakeholders across the business (sales, marketing, customer success) to understand requirements, gather feedback, and translate business needs into technical specifications.
d) Backlog Management:
Prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility, while balancing customer needs and company objectives.
e) Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, UX/UI, and data teams to guide the development process from conception to delivery, ensuring technical solutions are aligned with the product vision.
f) Technical Understanding:
Liaise with developers and architects to understand the technological possibilities and constraints, ensuring feasibility of product initiatives while maintaining performance, scalability, and security.
g) Metrics & Reporting:
Use data analytics and KPIs to track product performance, identify areas of improvement, and make data-driven decisions for future development cycles.
h) Customer Focus:
Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand pain points, and ensure their needs are being met by the product roadmap.
👍Required Skills & Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- High level of English (+ B2) and Spanish (+B2).
Experience:
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a product management role, preferably within a SaaS environment.
- Strong business acumen with a proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Experience working with agile/scrum methodologies and managing product.
- Solid understanding of software development processes and SaaS.
Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), and cloud technologies (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
- APIs and integrations: Basic understanding of APIs, especially if the product involves third-party integrations.
- Basic coding concepts: While not necessarily required to code, the Product Owner should understand the basics of programming languages and frameworks used by the This helps in communicating effectively with developers and understanding the technical challenges.
- System architecture: High-level knowledge of the product’s architecture, such as whether it’s monolithic or microservices-based, and how different components interact.
Soft Skills:

- Ability to balance competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a scale-up or high-growth SaaS company.
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles and experience working closely with UX/UI teams.
