    We are looking for a Tax Analyst for a multinational group based in Barcelona that operates in Consumer goods

    With +70 legal entities and revenues exceeding €2bn, the group operates in +20 countries throughout Europe, America, and Africa. Its core capabilities include strong talent, brands, and innovation.


    You will be joining the Tax Team at the Corporate level working E2E in the operations and managing some specific projects of our entities; with a strategic approach and shareholding perspective.

    This position will give you a complete vision of the operations, working hand in hand with  different  teams (e.g. Strategy, Finance, Legal, etc.).

    About the team:

    All our team members have significant Top tier consulting experience (Cuatrecasas, PWC, EY, etc.).

    This position also includes cooperation with CSFOs, Directors, Project managers, and other leading roles.

    What you will be doing:

    • Advising on recurring tax matters, handling Corporate Taxes, overseeing compliance, analysing new regulation impacts, defining transfer pricing policies and producing top reports, dealing with TA requirements, etc.
    • Managing domestic and international relationships with TA (via tax audits, proceedings, incentives, rulings, etc.).
    • Working on M&A (i.e., acquisitions, mergers, restructurings, joint-ventures, and divestments) tax workstreams, such as DD process, transaction structure definition (target, investment vehicle and price financing), tax modelling and integration.
    • Participating in other strategic projects with a tax component both at the corporate and business level (Strat. Tax Plan, Pilar II, Financing Tax Model, tax impacts of new countries/markets business model definition, etc.).

    What you need to have:

    • Degree in Law, Business Administration or Economics.
    • We are looking for someone with experience in Law Firm (Cuatrecasas, Garrigues, Uria, etc.) or Big 4.
    • We do not expect that the candidate has experience managing all the responsibilities that he/she will be doing. We are looking for someone with a structured mindset and the capabilities and talent to manage the responsibilities in the future with the proper training.
    • Strong technical and exceptional analytical skills (detail-oriented professional).
    • Ability to handle multiple high priority projects in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and have a sense of personal responsibility for quality work.
    • Interpersonal skills. Team spirit.
    • Proficient user on MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
    • Strong level of English.
