OneTalent is recruiting a SAP SD / OTC Functional Consultant for the Corporate IT team of a leading international FMCG group with more than 7,000 employees across 30+ countries.

Reporting to the IT Commercial Manager, you will join an international Corporate IT team responsible for the evolution and delivery of Commercial applications and Order-to-Cash processes across the Group.

This is a technical-functional role combining SAP SD / OTC expertise, strong business process knowledge and IT delivery responsibility.

You will work closely with Commercial and Customer Service stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions, while coordinating internal technical teams and external implementation partners to ensure successful delivery.

The company is currently undertaking several strategic transformation initiatives, including its ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation, Commercial IT harmonisation, European e-invoicing initiatives, M&A integrations and the evolution of its Customer Service operating model across multiple countries.

The ideal candidate combines solid SAP SD functional knowledge with strong end-to-end OTC understanding and the ability to drive functional deliveries and workstreams from requirements and solution design through implementation, go-live and hypercare.

⚒️Key responsibilities

a) SAP SD & Order-to-Cash

• Act as an SAP SD / OTC Functional Consultant supporting global Commercial applications and processes.
• Provide functional expertise across the end-to-end Order-to-Cash lifecycle.
• Translate business requirements into robust and scalable SAP functional solutions.
• Analyse incidents, change requests and process gaps, working closely with technical teams to identify root causes and define appropriate solutions.
• Support the evolution and continuous improvement of SAP-enabled Commercial processes.
• Ensure critical Commercial processes such as monthly closing and intercompany operations run smoothly.
• Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the Group's Commercial Process Map.

b) IT Project & Delivery

• Take responsibility for SAP SD / Commercial IT workstreams and functional deliveries, from initial requirements through solution design, testing, deployment, go-live and hypercare.
• Plan and coordinate project activities, priorities, dependencies and timelines.
• Coordinate business stakeholders, internal IT teams and external implementation partners.
• Identify project risks and potential blockers and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and Corporate IT standards.
• Manage multiple initiatives and priorities within an international environment.
• Support business adoption, training and change management throughout implementation.

c) SAP S/4 HANA & Transformation

• Play an active role in the Group's ECC → SAP S/4HANA transformation programme.
• Contribute to SAP template definition, process standardisation and rollout activities.
• Support Commercial Process Harmonisation across Business Units and countries.
• Participate in M&A integration projects, analysing local processes and supporting their integration into the Group's SAP and Commercial landscape.
• Support the transformation and harmonisation of Customer Service processes across different markets.

d) Integrations, EDI & E-Invoicing

• Support integrations between SAP and other Commercial platforms.
• Work with EDI processes and integrations, collaborating with internal specialists and external partners to analyse requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in European e-invoicing initiatives and regulatory compliance projects.
• Work closely with technical teams to understand integration dependencies and ensure successful end-to-end delivery.
• Contribute to the analysis and resolution of complex functional and integration issues.

e) Business Partnering & Vendor Management

• Build trusted relationships with Commercial, Customer Service, Finance, Supply Chain and other business stakeholders.
• Act as a bridge between business and IT, translating business needs into effective technology solutions.
• Challenge business requirements when appropriate and help identify scalable, standardised solutions.
• Coordinate external SAP and integration providers, ensuring quality, timelines and alignment with business requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering and solution validation.
• Collaborate closely with technical specialists, developers and implementation partners throughout project delivery.

🔎Who we are looking for

• Solid experience in SAP SD / OTC functional roles within an internal IT, SAP consulting or technology delivery environment.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD and a solid understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes.
• Experience taking responsibility for SAP projects, workstreams or functional deliveries, from business requirements through implementation and go-live.
• Experience participating in SAP ECC → S/4HANA transformations, implementations, global templates or international rollouts.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional SAP solutions and work effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Experience with EDI and SAP integration concepts.
• Experience coordinating external SAP/integration partners and managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Strong technical-functional mindset, with good project delivery, stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proactive, organised and comfortable working in a complex international environment.
• Fluent English.
