    We are looking for a Real Estate Development Manager for a huge go-to marketplace for road trips with presence in 15 European countries and over 66 cities.

    You will be joining a dynamic and technology driven company working with a team of 20 nationalities and young dynamic people.

    Following the company’s expansion, we are seeking a Real Estate Development Manager who will be based in the HQ in Lisbon and working at a global scope as the company is looking to invest worldwide.

    ✏️The Role

    • As the Real Estate Manager  you will be responsible for propelling the company`s growth across Europe, North America and Oceania by developing the best strategy to acquire, lease and manage dozens and potentially hundreds of real estate spaces to their portfolio, from where they operate from.
    • You will drive supply growth of operational depots and parking locations by working with the team of Operations Area Managers and local teams to identify top-of-the-funnel purchase and lease opportunities for the company, negotiate purchase prices/leases, manage deal closings, develop the spaces to match the brand and customer requirements and asset manage the properties in the company`s portfolio.
    • Your primary role is to develop and manage the process of prospecting, due diligence, negotiation, closure, set up and management of the company's real estate assets, as well as external partners such as property owners, landlords, developers, real estate agents and administrative consultants to sign as many units as possible across the locations targeted for their operational growth.

    📌What will you work on?

    • Grow the portfolio of rental stations and parking locations across Europe, North America and Oceania, by leading and developing the process of prospecting, due diligence, negotiation, closure, set up and asset management
    • Build relationships and pitch the company to many of the largest landlords, property owners and developers in each region and country across all our geographies.
    • Oversee and guide the negotiation and structuring of deals by performing market analysis, deal prospecting and underwriting, and aligning public policy stakeholders.
    • Work closely with the Operations Area Managers and local teams to develop and implement a real estate growth/acquisition and development plan, while assuring timely and accurate implementation of our key operational requirements, as well as compliance with local/national requirements.
    • Develop and establish relationships with a network of landlords, property owners, real estate developers and real estate agents, including lead sourcing, deal structuring, ongoing correspondence, troubleshooting, lease compliance and regulatory compliance.
    • Collaborate in designing and negotiating financing solutions with key financial partners (e.g. local banks, real estate investment funds) adequate to the company real estate strategy and business model economics.
    • Map out and become knowledgeable in local and national public policy and existing commercial business, hotel and rent-a-car regulations, alongside commercial and industrial property code/legislation.
    • Work cross functionally with other teams to guarantee full alignment with operational requirements and grow our brand equity across Europe by guaranteeing an outstanding “at-premises” customer experience and engaging in community relations so as to grow the company public image.

    Who we are looking for?

    • 3+ years of experience at a leading real estate development fund or real estate management company.
    • Proven ability to structure and close complex real estate deals, ranging all aspects of real estate development, including conceptualization, prospecting, underwriting, equity structures, financing, permitting, title and regulatory set up, construction, and exits.
    • Experience managing and motivating large real estate teams.
    • Fluent in English.
    • High degree of emotional intelligence, with the ability to present a value proposition and handling objections while inspiring trust.
    • Ability to build powerful networks across multiple geographies and types of partners.
    • Ability to understand and push through the regulatory and public policy environment.
    • Self-driven, analytical, pragmatic, with an entrepreneurial drive to find solutions with a frugality mindset.
    • Strategic thinker who understands what it takes to get things done and achieve rapid growth, while guaranteeing quality outcome at scale.
    • Great negotiation skills and the ability to rally both internal and external stakeholders to move forward complex deals.
