OneTalent is recruiting an IT Commercial Manager for a leading international group in the food and consumer goods industry, with operations across Europe, USA and Africa and a portfolio of well-known brands.

The role is based at the corporate HQ in Barcelona and reports to the Group Applications Director.

🎯Role Overview

The IT Commercial Manager is responsible for leading and evolving the commercial applications landscape across Business Units and Europe, Africa and North America ensuring technology solutions effectively support business growth, operational excellence, and digital transformation initiatives.

The role will manage a team covering the domains below:

• SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes i.e. SD/MM/TMS
• CRM & Retail Execution Platforms
• EDI, integrations, and workflow solutions

The successful candidate will combine strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on enterprise applications expertise to define and execute a scalable technology roadmap aligned with commercial business priorities. The role requires close collaboration with IT Service delivery teams to ensure smooth running of commercial tools across regions.

💼Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation of the IT commercial strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned with business priorities and digital transformation objectives.
• Serve as key business Partner for commercial initiatives with regional and global business contacts to identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across commercial business processes and supporting technologies.
• Ensure alignment between enterprise architecture standards and commercial application solutions.
• Drive harmonization and standardization of processes across multiple business units and regions.
• Ensure effective workload prioritization and resource planning across projects and support activities and investment prioritization.

⭐Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in enterprise applications and commercial business process management.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA projects, particularly within OTC and commercial process domains.
• Proven leadership experience managing multicultural and cross-regional teams.
• Experience supporting FMCG/CPG or multinational business environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of CRM platforms, consumer insights tools, integrations, and EDI processes.
• Experience managing international projects and third-party vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to define strategic roadmaps and drive digital transformation initiatives.
