We are looking for a highly skilled Delivery Manager for a cutting-edge Pharma Software company that offers technologies for self-medication and is also a renowned diabetes specialist with +30 years experience.
The company has a strong commitment in digitalizing the healthcare industry; that’s why they have established a new software development site in Barcelona; strengthening their development of digital services in the area of app and cloud technologies and partnering with pharmaceutical and biotech companies for pens, autoinjectors and pump systems for administering liquid medications.
As they continue to grow and expand their services, they are seeking a Delivery Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have experience in medtech/ health sector; with strong leadership skills with an agile coach mentality and capacity to deliver results.
✍️ Mission:
Line and delivery management of one or more engineering teams, reporting to the General Manager
✍️ Tasks:
- Ensure on-time product delivery
- Align on budget, time and scope of product delivery with project and product management
- Oversee team capacity and resource planning together with management and relevant stakeholders
- Detect and mitigate project risks and help remove impediments
- Define appropriate KPIs, monitor productivity and efficiency in product delivery and suggest and implement improvements (people, processes, technology)
- Support team and project ramp-up phases in terms of processes, tools and people
- Promote an agile mindset within the organization
- Active coaching of team members, incl. Scrum Masters and Product Owners
- Actively participate (or lead) product increment plannings, refinements and other agile ceremonies if needed
- Act as a line manager (point of escalation) for team members
- Ensure continuous personal and professional growth of team members
- Ensure build-up of essential know-how in the team and knowledge retention
- Ensure compliance of deliverables with relevant standards
- Responsible for recruiting (right people at the right time) and onboarding of new team members
- Ensure compliance according to internal guidelines
- Ensure in time and in budget product delivery
👍Who we are looking for:
- Previous experience as Delivery and/or Engineering Manager
- Brings experience in medical devices or healthcare sector
- Experience as people manager
- Capacity to lead, train and motivate the team
- Proven Lean Agile Leadership skills (at least 3 years, team sizes > 15 people)
- At least 3 years of experience working within agile collaboration and delivery models e.g Scrum / SAFe
- Experience in budget creation and it´s management
- Project management experience
- Agile coach mentality
- Capacity of resolution

- Bachelor or master's degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering)
- Proficient English skills (written and oral, around C1)
